NIEC hosts NIEC's annual inter college Technical fest. FNORD, as a technical festival, began a couple of years back as an intra college technical fest. Spanning over a massive space of around 40 events, both technical and informal, FNORD witnessed an overwhelming response from colleges not just in Delhi , but from outside as well. Amongst the various formal events held, LAN gaming, Junkyard, TPP, Debate, GD, Softathlon and C/C++ programming drew crowds, while informal events and off liners like Sudoku, Bomb Diffusion, Check Your Potential, C++ scrabble and Pictionary fired the competition through intermissions!FNORD'08 brings to you a plethora of events again this year, along with our MEGA-EVENTS: Linux Kernel Hacking (RHL5), ROBO WAR (Robotics), and Crptography (Documentary Presentation)!
We hope to see students from all renowned colleges of DELHI and Northern India again this year, like last year!

The Mission of the College has been derived out of the Memories of Late Babu Banarasi Das. "The Inspiring
Soul",to develop Young Budding minds in service of the Nation and of the Planet.
In the Chain of Technical and Proffesional Educational Institutes participant to Babu Banarasi Das Group of Educational Institutions , Northern India Engineering College, New Delhi is the latest inclusion.
