In
the chain of technical & professional educational institutes as parts of Babu Banarasi Das Group of Educational Institutions,
Northern India Engineering College, New Delhi is the latest addition, which is equipped and positioned to emerge
as a World-Class Technical Institute of Excellence in Northern India, commensurate with the vision of Late Babu Banarasi Das,
a revolutionary freedom fighter who later served as MP, Speaker, as also Chief Minister of the State of U.P.
The College has been established & is being managed by Babu Banarasi Das Educational Society, under the Chairmanship
of Hon’ble Dr. Akhilesh Das, MP & Minister of State for Steel, Govt. of India. Mrs. Alka Das, a highly educated
and socially active lady is the Vice Chairperson.
NIEC, Campus is spread in about 8 Acres of lush- green
environment, located at Facility Centre, Shastri Park, (opposite Metro- rail Station), New Delhi. It is only 2 kms from
ISBT Kashmere Gate and 3 kms from IP University.
